About

Bath Street Arts Trust was established in 2016 as a non profit organisation for the visual arts in New Zealand.

Purpose

To encourage participation in the visual arts.

Philosophy

The philosophy of the trust is to invite outstanding New Zealand artists to work with us to realise significant projects they might not have the capacity to deliver independently.

Bath Street Arts Trust has an invitational working model. We do not accept applications for funding.

History

Bath Street Gallery operated from 2003 to 2016 out of an architecturally designed industrial building in the central Auckland suburb of Parnell.  During that time the gallery represented and exhibited many outstanding New Zealand and international artists. Bath Street Gallery participated in art fairs in Auckland, Sydney and Hong Kong and was an official partner of the visual arts component of the Auckland Arts Festival.
